There are five basic stats that affect a Zoids combat ability. They are: HP, AMR, SPD, SHL, and WT.
HP- Hp is the amount of energy a Zoid has left until the command system freezes.
AMR- AMR signifies the amount of armor a zoid has.
SHL- In this RPG, Shells are the ammo and and energy a Zoid expends to use weaponry. They are combined to make the Stats a bit less complex to calculate.
SPD - Speed of Zoid. Determine's who has the first strike in a battle.
WT - The max carrying capacity of the Zoid. It can be increased with special items. You can surpass the weight limit, but you lose 10 SPD for every ton you are overwieght.
How do I Improve my Zoid's Stats?
Improvements can be made in one of two ways or a combination of both. One way is to buy upgrades for your Zoids. The other is to train with your Zoid. For every 5 min of training, you get the stats designated by the command system equipped on the Zoid at the time (if you can't remember what stats you get, look on the Parts Shop Page at your system). You can change your system as long as you have another, but it will take one day to switch between systems.
How to Calculate Damage to Your Zoid
To calculate damage to your Zoid, you take the AD of the attack, subtract your AMR rating. What is left is the damage done to your Zoid. You then subtract that from your HP.
How to Calculate your Attack
To calculate the attack of your Zoid, choose a weapon that you will attack with. It will have an AD amount and a SHL amount. To get the attack, you multiply the number of the same weapons you are attacking with to the AD and KI of the weapon. You then subtract the SHL amount you get from your own SHL.**YOU MUST HAVE THE REQUIRED SHL TO ATTACK!!**
Your Zoids Speed
The SPD of your Zoid is an imorptant factor in battle. Besides determining the fighting order of the battle, speed determines how many turns you get in a fight. If you have a speed rating that is at least twice the opponents' you get 2 turns to their one.
Example: If your Speed is 200 and your opponent's is 100, you can attack twice every time he does.
In a Team battle you must have more then twice everyone on the opposing team.
Example: If your Speed is 200, the highest speed on the other team for you to have 2 attacks a turn is 99.
UH-OH. . .No Ammo...
If you run out of SHL during the fight, you can retreat back to the transport and restock on ammo. Be forewarned that this process takes a lot of time! It takes three turns to reload your ammo supplies: one to get back to the Transport, one to restock, and one to return to the battle. While you are gone your forces are outnumbered and you cannot attack or be attacked by the enemy. You do not have to run out of SHL to go and reload. You can reload anytime in battle. In a one on one battle, the enemy gets 20,000Hp as you reload.

Aftermath
You can only have one battle per day. After the battle, your zoids must be repaired before you can fight again. Fortunately, the Zoid Battle Commission offers free repairs for all Zoid pilots. It will take 1 day to repair your Zoid if you win, 2 days if you lose.
